T-12 Days
Five days ago I put in my notice at a great company where I earn a generous salary and a future of almost presumable promotions. The team I worked with quickly became my at-work friends with our shared passion in providing the best results we could within the proper work-life balance. I'm turning a new chapter in my life because none of the money and perks scratched an itch I've had since I dropped out of college 18 years ago. I want to start a company from scratch. I truly love technology and the difference it makes in people's lives. I'm passionate about providing value to customers that does not require polish from a marketing team. Over the last 18 years in the workforce, I learned enough about the agile value-delivery cycle to understand that I do not matter. I do not have the answers, my future customers do. My passion to hear their collective voice and build their vision of value, fueled by a hard-earned work ethic, placed me outside a door that I've fi
